OK, this is my first blog ever! Not sure why I am doing this, who I am doing it for or if it will even make a difference in the vast galaxy of the Internets :)

The Real Fucking Gateway Drug - so pay attention!

Prohibition did not work and this is something we are all aware of. As I stood around friends within my age group (25-35) during a BBQ we were having this Labor Day Weekend, the subject of Marijuana came up. Is it good, is it bad, etc etc.

It was amazing to hear how several people (most) just regurgitated almost the exact phrases the media talking-heads throw about so freely! Marijuana is a gateway drug, its addictive its bad bad bad etc etc etc. And dont even let me get into the issue of politics as that conversation inevitably made its way.

There are people reading this right now... YES YOU, I mean, who else reads blogs and trolls the internet in search of infinite information from all sides in order to develop their own opinion other than intelligent people like yourselves who stay informed. This blog is for you :)

Ok so everyone was regurgitating the fact that marijuana leads to other drugs, I had enough and yelled out,  I said... "I think its safe to say that everyone here has experimented with Marijuana at one point or another and some of you might even have some on you at this very moment :)))).. Now, realize this people and I am going to speak with 100% confidence and say that each and everyone of you tried this (I held up my beer) way before you ever smoked a joint!  This... Alcohol is the REAL FUCKING GATEWAY DRUG!"  Immediately everyone started agreeing and the look on their face was priceless.  A true epiphany to lost sheeple, I remember my cousins and I steeling beer out of the ice coolers during family cookouts when we were in our preteens and running to go drink them in the forest preserve or some other safe location while our parents were to busy enjoying themselves to even notice.

Will you guys give me the opportunity to confess something?...  I dont even smoke Marijuana! Have I in the past? Of course, to the point of abusing it.  We all remember those days right?  I stopped because I didnt like the way it made me feel, main reason being is that I dont like to loose control of my thoughts - even though some of my most brilliant ideas came to me while I was under the influence. Plus now a days you drug test before a job or else I would use it the way god intended it to be used such as right before I try and get some sleep, as a relaxant, to alleviate a migraine that I might get every blue moon,  and most importantly ... sometimes just for the fuck of it. Why? Because I am an adult and I have the god given right to make those decisions.  I read Napoleon Hill -"The law of success" which I hold dearest to my heart, equivalent of a bible and it inspired me in ways that I just wanted to copy down some quotes so I can remind myself of them every day, guess where I ended up writing them....   on the walls of my bedroom and living room with a big black bold marker.  Why? Because it;s my house (yes mine, not the banks) and I have the right to do as I please as long as I am not hurting anyone else and my girlfriend was a bit stunned at first but loved it once she read them over.

Should we make all drugs Legal????  Maybe not all, in my opinion but we definitely should Decriminalize them.  A person that suffers from an addiction rather it be alcohol, extasy, prescription pills, marijuana, cocaine, heroin, or even food are people who have an ILLNESS they need medical and social intervention not a jail cell!  Is it just me or does anybody else agree with that statement?? Thank You.  If their addiction leads them to break a law where they steal or rob then NO EXCUSES throw the book at em but I cant tell you how many times I and others like yourselves have watched popular shows like COPS and find ourselves scratching our heads as to why the police officer explains every move the drug user made from the point of sale but decided to go after the user instead of the dealer.  Mind boggling isnt it?

Are Narco Terrorist killing each other to import whiskey into this country... of course not. Because its regulated and taxed by the government. And trust me people, there is a lot of money being made.  Just stop and ask a police officer what he/she has to deal with when they encounter a drunk indiviual vs someone who has or smells of marijuana. And if you dont have the balls to do that then let me ask you this....  ever had a bad day, week , month to the point where you wish you could just break something or kick someones ass????  What would the results be if I handed you a bottle of hard liquor???  You would probably go out and do exactly that.,, kick someones ass, fight with the police, or get home and beat your wife.   Now, what would the results be if I handed you a joint???  Youd probably blow of some steem and realize life isnt so bad but XYZ's restaurant sounds very attractive.
